RFHS looks to improve

The 2010 test results for Rosa Forts SATP (Subject Area Testing Program) indicate that there is a dire need for drastic and timely improvement.
Of the four subjects tested, students demonstrated only in Algebra I. The scores for English II, biology and U.S. History all declined from those of the previous year. Nearly 30 percent of students failed the biology test and 49.6 percent of students failed the English II test.

WHEREAS, the undersigned Charles M. Cariker, Mayor of the Town of Tunica, has determined that a civil emergency exists with regard to the observance of Halloween in the Town of Tunica; and
WHEREAS, because of such situation, it is necessary to declare a curfew on Sunday, October 31, 2010, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
