Search on for missing TN man
Multiple agencies are assisting in search efforts for an 82 year old man who disappeared on his way to the casinos in North Tunica County.
George W. Nicholson was last seen on June 29, 2011 in Arlington, Tenn. before he departed for Horseshoe Casino in Tunica. His vehicle, discovered near Hardin Point in the Tunica Cut-off area, has been sent to the Mississippi Crime Laboratory in Batesville, Miss., according to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department.
Tuesday’s primary races drawing interest
Next Tuesday’s Democratic primary election will decide a number of county offices, including Sheriff, Chancery Clerk, Circuit Clerk, Tax Assessor/Collector, both Justice Court posts, and District 1 Supervisor, but will leave other races up in the air until the November general election.
