Use caution to prevent thefts

Veazey said car windows had been broken out and contents stolen twice in the past two weeks, both while cars were parked near the town’s walking park.

Creating more jobs and keeping employees happy with the ones they have were two of the highlights of the July 2 meeting of the Board of Supervisors.

Lovelady uses hardships as motivation
The biography of former Ole Miss football standout and current Baltimore Raven Michael Oher inspired the world through the book and movie titled The Blind Side.
Now, a former Rosa Fort star with a similar story is hoping to emulate Oher’s success and pursue his own dreams of one day making it to the NFL.
“My life was very similar to that (of Oher’s). That’s my life there, too,” explained Derrell Lovelady, who graduated from Rosa Fort High School in 2012. “I’ve used his story as motivation and I figure if he could do that, I could do that, too.”
