Choir ready to share message with world
A pool of Tunica talent will share their abilities with the world on March 18 as they perform on the Bobby Jones Gospel Hour. The nationally televised program airs on Black Entertainment Television on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. Central time.
The Tunica Gospel Choir was invited to perform on the program after one of the show’s co-hosts attended the Feb. 27 services at Commerce Boulevard Christian Church. Dr. Mardean Gales liked what she heard and asked that Tunica’s choir travel to Nashville to appear on the show.
The Gospel Choir is comprised of talent from all over Tunica County. It includes singers, musicians, and choir directors from a variety of local churches, who meet to practice and praise God each week.
