Wilkie to share Zeus with Friends

A Mississippi author will be the guest of honor at a special program on March 18, hosted by the Friends of the Library.
Curtis Wilkie, author of The Fall of the House of Zeus, will speak and sign copies of his nonfiction from noon to 1 p.m. at the R.C. Irwin Library.  Refreshments will be served.
Wilkie was born in Greenville, Miss. but grew up in Summitt. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. From 1963 to 1969, he was on staff at the Clarksdale Press Register. He then received a Congressional Fellowship from the American Political Science Association and served on Capitol Hill from 1969 to 1971.
