Epiphany marks special day
The Church of the Epiphany in Tunica celebrated an anniversary of sorts at its Palm Sunday service last weekend.
For the first time since 1924, Palm Sunday fell on April 17, inspiring the local Episcopal congregation to remember the church’s dedication and host a reunion of extended family members and former congregants.
The service itself featured a procession into the church with members waving palm branches, special music and readings, Communion, hymns and songs, and prayer.
