Mr. and Mrs. William C. Montgomery of Starkville, Miss. announce the engagement of their daughter Kayla Brook Montgomery to Hayden Thomas Canter, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hayden Canter of Tunica, Miss.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pannell of Brooksville, Miss. and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Montgomery of Starkville.
Kayla is a graduate of Starkville Academy and is attending Mississippi State University in Starkville. She is employed as an instructor for Starkville Gymnastics.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Thomas of Bowling Green, Ky. and Mr. and Mrs. William L. Canter of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Hayden is a graduate of Tunica Institute of Learning and Mississippi State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in management of construction and land development. While at MSU, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He is employed by Byrum Construction of Starkville.
The couple will exchange vows at half past six o’clock in the evening at the home of the bride in Starkville. A reception will follow on the lawn of the Montgomery home.
