Qualifers garner success in U.S. Open

Seven of the 10 golfers who qualified for the U.S. Open at Tunica National Golf and Tennis Center finished in the money in last week’s tournament at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD.
The highest finisher was Sergio Garcia, who shot 279 and tied for fourth with Peter Hanson, earning over $200,000.
