Tunican, Jr. Streetkings go out with a bang
The Jr. StreetKings roller hockey program’s spring league came to a close with the league championship game played on Saturday, June 25, as two teams battled it out for the league trophy.
The Jr. StreetKings program, a part of Hernando Youth Sports, continued its ninth season with exciting youth roller hockey at the Hernando Civic Center just off Robertson Gin Road in Hernando. There were three teams that competed in this year’s Spring League, which ran from May 23 - June 25: the Crunch, Devils and RinkRats. The teams played 17 games on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. throughout the season leading up to the final game.
