Duo banking on community growth
The people of Tunica County are constantly searching for ways to develop and improve the area, whether it be an entrepreneur bringing a new business downtown or the Convention Visitor’s Bureau producing a new tourist attraction. But something that is always a danger to any community is drought.
Yes, Tunica is a farming community, but the drought I’m talking about is one of the lack of youth. Without youth, a community cannot grow and thrive. It will just as easily dry up and blow away as a cotton field would without the proper care.
