CCC’s Horton promises ‘exciting, good football’
“We’re used to adversity, and overcoming obstacles; our players are resilient, and will be again,” says Coahoma Community College Head Coach Freeman Horton referring to his team’s late start conditioning for the fall season.
Because of summer dorm unavailability, Coahoma’s Tigers hit campus for the first time Sunday, Aug. 7, while their opponents at Mississippi’s 13 other two-year colleges playing football were shaping up in summer school, says Horton.
