Boys, Girls Club seeks help from area
Mississippi Delta announced that the organization is suffering from recent budget cuts from the Mississippi Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Center Program. Funding the organization has traditionally received in past years has been diverted to suffering school districts directly impacted by statewide budget cuts earlier this year.
The organization’s Board of Directors and Chief Professional Officer are asking for tax deductible donations in order to proceed with an after school fall program that will accommodate over 2,300 registered youth ages 6-18.
