Lady Devils softball finds winning ways

Tunica Academy's softball team, going into the home stretch of the 2011 season with a 9-2 record, is tied with Lee (AR) for second place in the district.
The Lady Diamond Devils opened their season with a 7-3 win over West Memphis Christian on Aug. 4 and followed up by winning their own tournament with a 20-4 finals win over Marshall on Aug. 6. Other wins came over West Memphis, 9-1; DeSoto, a doubleheader, 13-1 and 23-14; and Marvell, 15-13.
