Cookin with The Columns: Mississippi meets Louisiana
I talked to my sister in Baton Rouge for a long time Sunday night. She was cooking shrimp and vegetables that she had gotten at their farmer’s marker for dinner. It made me miss her and all that good Louisiana food that we have when we go see them. So when I was looking through the Easy Livin’ cookbook today, Pat Boyd’s recipe for Red Beans and Rice sounded so good (miss her too!). Here’s a great, easy, inexpensive dinner for this week.
