The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is now offering an Apprentice 3-Day Sportsman License for Mississippi residents. The license fee is $7.00 and includes All Game Hunting and Fishing, Fall and Spring Turkey Hunting, and Archery/Primitive Weapon privileges.  
The Apprentice 3-Day Sportsman License provides an affordable opportunity to allow one to try hunting before a hunter education course is taken. Licenses may be purchased online at www.mdwfp.com, by calling 1-800-5GO-HUNT, or at any of the 450 MDWFP agent locations throughout the state.
