NWCC Rangers fall to Northeast 34-28
Trailing 34-7 at the half and all but down and out, homestanding Northwest rallied for 21 unanswered points in the second half and held Northeast to just 60 total yards and three first downs but it was too little, too late as the Tigers escaped Senatobia with a 34-28 win to snap a five-game losing streak to the Rangers. |
Former Rosa Fort Lions Jayson Saffold, Donald Hawkins and Dontarrius Young were all starters for Northwest. Hawkins and Young are part of the offensive line. Safford, part of the Rangers defense, put up one solo tackle and five assists.
