A Halloween treat
When we lived in Somerville, we had a hayride/cookout every year for our Sunday School class and friends we went to church with at Audubon Park Baptist Church in Memphis. Some years, we would have as many as a hundred people attending--kids of all ages, former members, etc. So this past weekend we decided to do it again down here...kind of a reunion/hayride/cookout. Dick Taylor brought his wagon for the hayride and we had a (much smaller than before) fire in the back yard to cook hot dogs and marshmallows. Some of the “kids” who used to come now have kids of their own. It was so good to see them all. Guess we’ll have to start making it an annual event for them again. Abby brought these delicious pumpkin muffiins. She said they were easy to make so I asked her if I could pass the recipe on to you.
