Pink Lee Hopson Gibson was born to the late John T. Hopson Sr. and Katherine Jackson Hopson on December 18, 1962 in Tunica, Mississippi.  She departed this life peacefully at home on Oct. 17.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Gibson, sister Corene H. Dunn, and her brother Eddie C. Hopson, all of Tunica, her stepson Christopher Clark of Memphis and sister-in-law Mae Lee Parker of Boston.  She confessed her life with Christ at an early age at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.  On December 17, 1981 she was married to Johnny Lee Gibson Jr. of Hollandale, Miss.
