John E. Chrestman, 80, a retired farmer and proprietor of federal crop insurance and ITT Bakery, died Jan. 18, 2012 at his home.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20 at Clarksdale Baptist Church in Clarksdale, with burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Chrestman was a family man, avid fisherman and hunter and former member of the Conservation League. He was a member of Clarksdale Baptist Church.
