Witnesses at the scene as well as local law enforcement officers stated that 23-year-old Kendall Smith and Anzio “Zo” Camper arrived at A and H (Rocky’s) Store at about the same time around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23. Smith fired at least three shots at Camper outside the business, before Camper ran into the store. Smith then followed Camper into the business and continued firing, striking the victim several times. Witnesses reported at least seven shots were fired. Store employees stated that after Camper fell to the floor, Smith exited the business, fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
