Eleanor Baker Bivens, age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Northbrooke Healthcare in Jackson, Tenn. after a long illness.
She was born on December 7, 1924 in Halls, Tenn. to the late Robert and Ivy Lee Baker. She graduated from Halls High School in 1941 and worked at the Dyersburg Army Air Base during World War II. She moved to Jackson in 1947 where she worked for McCowat Mercer before becoming a full time mom.
