Art student designing CD for up and coming musicians
Almost any teacher will tell you it’s better when a student can get “hands-on” experience. To be able to use what a student is learning in the classroom in a real-life situation can be extremely valuable in that student’s education, and in future career endeavors.
One of the projects Art Instructor Eunika Rogers assigns her sophomore Graphic Design students at Northwest Mississippi Community College is to redesign an existing CD cover. This semester, through a piece of Rogers’ own artwork, one of her students is getting the chance to actually design a CD cover for an up and coming band in California.
