Cookin with The Columns: A cooling summer treat
Last week Meg got a recipe at her Weight Watchers meeting that she wanted me to make for her. It’s an ice cream cake with strawberries and angel food cake, actually three of my favorite things to eat! I made the angel food cake with Duncan Hines mix which is the mix I like best but I think you could use “store-bought” angel food cake. It takes a whole cake for the recipe though, so don’t buy a small one. If you have trouble finding the fat-free frozen yogurt (and are not on weight watchers) you could use vanilla ice cream instead. Meg gave me a piece of it to try and it’s yummy!
