Deborah Elizabeth “Debbie” Pegram, 56, passed away at her home in Dundee, Miss. on May 18.
Following her graduation from Tunica Institute of Learning in 1973, Debbie attended Northwest Community College and Delta State University, majoring in Law Enforcement. She attended the Police Academy, and she was proud to serve as the first female police officer in Clarksdale, Miss. In 1981, she returned to the Tunica area where she would live out the remainder of her life. Until her recent illness, she was an employee of MP Farms.
