Young artist earns admission to prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy

Steven Mark Porter, Jr., 16 of Columbus has been accepted and will attend Interlochen Arts Academy, the world’s premier fine arts boarding high school. Porter, the son of Dr. Steve and Dona Porter, will study Music at the Academy. He is the grandson of Mary Don Koonce and the late Mr. Koonce of Tunica.
