NWCC offers variety of con ed classes
The Division of Continuing Education at Northwest Mississippi Community College is offering several continuing education credit classes during the fall semester. All of the classes will be held on the Senatobia campus.
Communicating Effectively with Parents (for teachers) emphasizes effective communication in education between teachers and parents. With increased expectations on teachers to be responsible for student achievement and test scores, teachers need to be able to engage parents in their efforts. The class will be offered on Mondays from 5-7:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 10 and ending Oct. 1. The fee for the class, which is worth 1.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), is $90. The class, taught by Wendy Gregory, will be held in the Physical Science Building, Room 334. The deadline to register is Sept. 10.
