Help me understand double standards
Isn’t the Cut-off privately owned and is not a part of the county? Then why is it that I’m understanding the Cut-off was instructed to dump their debris from the flood onto the county side of the levee in order for the county to foot the bill? I’m talking somewhere to the tune of $350,000-$400,000.
I’m wondering why they named it Cut-off. Maybe cut off from Tunica County...isolation, ungoverned, not a part of. Just wondering.
Nevertheless, this was bad leadership. Secondly, why didn’t the supervisors on the board at that time object say no. Was it because you agreed to it? If so, could you tell me why you and the others chose to rob the county for its tax dollars? Someone should be held liable and forced to reimburse that money.
