Blues legends come to life in exhibit
The Tunica Museum hosts the opening of a new exhibit, “A Cast of Blues,” by Sharon McConnell-Dickerson on Friday, September 7, from 5 to 8 p.m.
McConnell-Dickerson is a sculptor, lecturer, speaker and columnist. Her work is featured in numerous exhibitions and included in the art collections of museums, universities and private individuals. Her life-cast work is in the same tradition and methods of master life caster George Segal, and she is best known for her life-masks of legendary blues musicians.
