TMS goes 2-0 with consecutive shut-outs

The Tunica Middle School Lions played the Shelby Middle School Cougars on Sept. 6 and won 48-0.
Quarterback Jitaurious “Ty Ty” Gordon was a perfect 6-6 passing for 112 yards. He also rushed three times for 72 yards and a touchdown and had a fumble recovery on defense.
Wide receiver/cornerback Calvin Hurd had two catches for 36 yards; he also registered an interception. Running back Edret Winslow had six carries for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Eric “EJ” Carter had three carries for 25 yards and a touchdown. He also added a two point conversion.
