Lions travel to Crystal Springs
A series of questionable calls by officials made the going rough for the Rosa Fort Lions, playing at Lake Cormorant last Friday night.
The Lions trailed the Gators 19-8 at the half and never recouped, losing 40-20 in the nonconference match-up.
“We felt like we played good enough to win, but we couldn’t overcome the penalties,” Coach Edwin Norwood said this week. “It changed the game and gave Lake Cormorant the upper hand.”
