Duo of Tunica writers completes books
With manuscript in hand, members of the Tunica Chapter of the Mississippi Writers Guild completed their manuscript and are in the process of editing, publishing, and marketing their books.
Beginning last September 2009, writers in the Tunica Chapter accepted the challenge to write a book in nine months in a series of monthly Writer’s Workshops held at the Tunica Museum.
Sue Banister and Dr. Rachell Anderson met the challenge and completed a book. Sue Banister wrote the story of her mother’s early life, while Dr. Rachell Anderson’s book Run Turkeys, Run about 50 years of family celebrations will be out by Thanksgiving.
