Family, police seek answers in shooting
The murder of one town resident is cold, but certainly not forgotten, according to Tunica Police Chief Richard Veazey. And he along with the victim’s family are certain that someone out there can piece together the details of Charles David Brown’s death.
The body of Brown, 58, was discovered at a residence in the Town of Tunica on June 23, 2008. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was transported to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. Reportedly, the second victim alerted the police to be on the lookout for two black males responsible for the shootings.
