The first flight carrying Total Rewards members to Tunica as part of a three year agreement between Caesars Entertainment and Republic Airways landed at the Tunica Airport January 8, 2013. The flight was greeted with a ceremonial water cannon salute upon arrival.
Under the contract Republic’s Republic Airlines subsidiary will operate five Embraer E190 aircraft to provide more than 1,500 flights annually for Caesars’ customers throughout the United States. Caesars expects a minimum of 400 flights to land in Tunica this year. Flights to Tunica will originate in cities in Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Illinois, Wisconsin, and New York, just to name a few.
