Blanche Rebecca Harrelson Franks
On Tuesday morning, February 19, 2013, the bright spirit of Blanche Rebecca Harrelson Franks left this world and rose to Heaven.
Blanche was born to Thomas Larkin Harrelson, Sr. and Edna Victoria Tedder Harrelson in Vardaman, MS. Her family moved to the Walnut, MS community. As a teenager she worked at Powers Dept. Store in Clarksdale, MS. She married and moved to Shaw and then Cleveland, MS, where she raised her three children. There, she owned and operated Burke-Hall Paint Store, Belgrade Apartments and partnered with her daughter in an antique store, Finishing Touch Interiors.
