To incorporate the highway or not to incorporate the highway. That was the question pondered by town officials, citizens and business owners at a special meeting on Wednesday, July 28.
Bob Wilson, director of Mississippi Main Street, presented a power point presentation highlighting possibilities for Tunica. Wilson said creating a highway district was possible, even though it would not encompasses the same design as downtown.
“Even though the area is not considered historic, there’s a way to make it look attractive,” Wilson said.
