Throughout the year, Relay for Life events are held in communities across the nation and around the world.  Each local event brings together volunteers, survivors, friends and family to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Relay on the River will be held in Tunica County on August 27 in Rivergate Park. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until 1 a.m.
Anne Coggins is among those helping to build Relay on the River. This year, Coggins is working on team development and plans to participate in Relay with the team Queing for a Cure.
