Billy Spencer retires from banking
[Editor’s note: Longtime Tunica banker Billy Spencer, who is retiring this month from First Security Bank, has written a letter to his friends and customers to have The Times publish. We gladly do so and wish Billy all the best.]
After thirty-nine (39) years in banking, I am scheduled to retire at the end of December 2013.
I was born in a family of ten, four brothers and five sisters. Thanks to the encouragement of my family, especially my mother, I was the only one of the ten to attend college.
