Budget committee holds line on spending
JACKSON – Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves, the current Chairman of the Joint Legislative Budget Committee (JLBC), recently presented the Legislative Budget Recommendation (LBR) for Fiscal Year 2015. The $5.86 billion proposed budget for next year maintains current agency spending while reducing more than 2,000 vacant positions, Lt. Gov. Reeves said.
