Cookin with The Columns: A supremely good dinner
When I was growing up, we went to my grandmother’s house every other Sunday after church and she would have fried chicken and mashed potatoes and lots of vegetables and homemade rolls and dessert. Mmmmm, makes me hungry just thinking about her delicious Sunday lunch. Then when our kids were growing up, I usually put a roast in the crock pot or some chicken in the oven and we would have a big lunch on Sunday when we got home from church.
