Spring turkey season open in state
It is time for Mississippi’s turkey hunters to practice their yelping and dust off their shotgun.
The spring turkey season opened March 15 and ends May 1. Opportunities to pursue spring gobblers are plentiful across the Magnolia State, and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks anticipates that hunting success will be good in 2014.
