Amazon refund is real but stay aware
Brandon, Miss. – Good news for consumers! Amazon recently sent e-mails to its customers who were eligible for the e-book refund. To be eligible you must have bought an e-book published by Simon & Schuster, Hachette, HarperCollins, Macmillan or Penguin from April 1, 2010, to May 21, 2012.
Those affected are getting a credit of $3.17 for each book that was on the New York Times bestseller list; for books not on the list, customers get a credit of $0.73 per title.
If you bought an Amazon Kindle e-book between April 2010 and May 2012, check your inbox – you may have money coming to you. There is nothing you need to do as the credit is already added to your account.
