Tunica touched by pilgrim’s progress
When the idea of making a pilgrimage from Quebec to Mexico came to Anne-Marie Michel, she couldn’t shake the feeling that it was something she must do. And as she rests in the home of a Tunica County resident, Michel says she is glad that the Lord directed her on this path.
Michel, 34, embarked on her journey from Canada on May 27, 2010 with many hopes and miles in front of her. Ultimately, her mission is to make a statement against abortion, as she will conclude her pilgrimage at the shrine honoring the protector of unborn children.
