Water upgrades still on tap for town
For months, the Board of Aldermen’s agenda has been “watered down,” as they have discussed needed improvements to the town’s water system.
On Oct. 5, Engineer Ed Davis presented an update to town officials. Davis said he was finishing up the water facilities plan in hopes of getting it on the priority list for funding. The plan highlights six or seven improvement projects that could be done over a 20 year period. Davis said eventually all three of the town’s wells will need to be replaced.
