Tigers defeat Trojans 35-14 in Homecoming duel
CLARKSDALE – Coahoma’s Tigers defeated arch rival Mississippi Delta 35-14 last Saturday and provided a perfect Homecoming for thousands of alumni and fans filling James Miller Stadium.
Although Coahoma led 21-7 at halftime after jumping out front 7-0 in the first quarter and adding two more touchdowns in the second to the Trojan’s sole score, the second half morphed into a near nailbiter until CCC cashed two turnovers into TDs in the final quarter.
