Robinsonville Community Center gets green light
The “when” is still uncertain, but the “where” and “how” on a community center in Robinsonville were finally decided at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Feb. 7.
On the heels of a motion to approve a $300,000 allottment for a fire station at Dundee, District 1 Supervisor James Dunn called for the approval of the Robinsonville community center. Dunn said the item had been budgeted for and he would like to see bids solicited for the project.
Board president Billy Pegram asked Dunn to wait until the board got farther down in the agenda. An item, listed as number 27, called for consideration on a voting precinct at Robinsonville. Dunn said as far as he was concerned, his issue should come first.
