Supervisors take steps on blues project
County supervisors made a number of “housecleaning” decisions at their payroll meeting on Feb. 15, including filling the vacant position of commissioner on the North Tunica Fire Protection District board.
The board approved the appointment of William Calder to the post. Calder, a security supervisor at a casino resort, lives in the district, administrator Clifton Johnson said.
Supervisors also approved appropriations of $51,253.33 to the airport and $98,000 to Tunica County Public Projects, Inc.
