Beat Two Supervisor files trespassing charges
A dispute between a local couple and a county supervisor escalated last week, leading to the involvement of the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department.
Chief Deputy Randy Stewart said deputies arrested citizen Robert B. Tuchel on Thursday, Feb. 24 after receiving a trespassing complaint by Beat 2 Supervisor Cedric Burnett. According to Stewart, Burnett signed an affadavit reporting that Tuchel had been observed taking pictures at his home at 1370 Beatline Road on Tuesday, Feb. 22. A warrant for Tuchel’s arrest was issued and signed by Justice Court Judge Rodney Hibbler.
