Guest Column: Exploring Aryana Land

My writing took a break, a furlough or maybe I would call it entering “Aryana Land.”
My daughter deployed to Afghanistan the first of December; that is when I took on the responsibility of caring for my granddaughter Aryana.
My daughter Paige has been helping defending our freedom for 12 years in the Air Force and will now be away from her daughter for seven months. She is to return in June.
