The Diamond Devils of Tunica Academy have been on the road for most of the 2011 season, going 3-0 in the conference and 3-6 overall, heading into a big home game on April 1.
And that game on the newly refurbished field will be a special one: a dedication ceremony will precede the 3 p.m. game against rival DeSoto Academy.
With new dugouts, fence and lights, TA’s field has gotten a much-needed renovation, thanks in part to Troop 16 Scout Joseph Melton, who is working toward his Eagle award.
