UM employees go green this week
Two University of Mississippi professors are doing what they can to help out the environment on campus and at home.
Mike Mossing, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry, advocates biking and walking in the Lafayette, Oxford and university communities.
“I co-chaired a task force to recommend sustainability practices for the university,” Mossing said. “For the past few years, I have chaired a city commission to advise the mayor, board of aldermen, city planner and the Department of Public Works on making Oxford a great place to get around without a car.”
