Cookin with The Columns: Comforting food
In times like these...with all the flooding and the concerns over the whole situation, I was looking for “comfort food,” the kind of thing we all want when we are worried. I found this recipe that the lady who put it in this cookbook of mine wrote.
She lived a full life until the age of 97. So obviously it was a comfort food to her and I thought it might be the same for all of us. I’m going to try it this week because it sounds like the perfect ending to a meal.
